Bright dark red. Open-knit aromas of raspberry, brown spices and chocolate. Densely packed and velvety for the vintage and for the cru, with red berry, brown spice and iron flavors complemented by a salty quality. This rich, rather pliant 2014 finishes with excellent length and smooth tannins. While it should offer considerable early appeal, it also has the stuffing to age.

Morey-Saint-Denis Fine Wine

Morey-Saint-Denis

Morey-Saint-Denis, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is known for its elegant, well-structured Pinot Noir wines that balance the power of Gevrey-Chambertin and the finesse of Chambolle-Musigny. These wines feature flavours of red and black fruits, earthy spices, and floral notes, with refined tannins and excellent ageing potential. Home to five Grand Cru vineyards, including Clos de Tart and Clos Saint-Denis, top producers like Domaine Dujac, Domaine Ponsot, and Domaine des Lambrays are celebrated for their traditional winemaking and expressive wines.
